Organic matter is important to the soil and yet so often neglected. Adding Mile-Hi Rose Feed to the soil improves moisture retention and enhances soil texture as it decomposes. Nutrients in organic matter have a slow-release characteristic, spreading their benefits over months and even years. Mile-Hi Rose Feed is a proven product: a blended mixture of plant nutrient compounds and organic mixture for a truly balanced, complete fertilizer. It encourages root growth while boosting overall plant health and it won’t harm ground-water.

Their flower and vegetable feed and kelp meal make great soil amendments. To help new plants get established, I use the kelp meal mixed in planting backfill for its superior water holding ability. Then it breaks down to improve the soil and the plant roots.Denver Rose Society

The ingredients are supported by research as being highly beneficial to shrub type plants.
